The controversial PDA, dropped due to missed deadlines, a finished product that did not match the comissioned outline and a storyline that "90% of our readers won't [understand]". The best way to sum up the plot of Campaign is to that it is an exploration of the original TARDIS crew, as we saw them, and as they could have been. As Campaign progesses, the changes in the characters continue to evolve as the TARDIS crew try to solve the mystery surrounding them. The story is not just told through standared prose, but through illustrations and a variety of prose tricks used to get across the views of the characters. This is a story that people will either love or hate; as for me, I enjoyed Campaign, and the themes Jim was exploring throughout the story. Unmissable.
