The Doctor begins his exile on Earth, as an alien menace prepares the final stages of a full scale invasion... With a new Doctor, new setting, new companion and in colour; the Jon Pertwee era almost feels like a whole new series instead of the beginning of a new season of Doctor Who. However, the new familiar element of UNIT and the presence of the TARDIS h. There are many memorable moments in Spearhed from Space including the Autons attack on an ordinary street. An impressive start for a new era with a virtually flawless story.
