Cover info
For this cover I found two separate versions of the same image of the Trojan Horse, and found after examing both versions,
neither would be suitable to form the cover background on their own, so I decided combine them to form the closest image I
can get from them.
I scanned in the smaller of the two, and discovered that after re-sizing, the image looked very blurred. I sharpened the
image, which didn't look right, so I overlaid the sharpened version over the re-sized image, adding a circular blur to
the image.
I next scanned in the larger image, and after some re-sizing and cropping I matched it up to the smaller version.
After some comparison of varying combinations of the images, I decided to go with the larger image overlaying the smaller
version with circular blur.
The rest of the cover was easier to assemble. I scanned in an image of Troilus and Vicki, and after some alteration I was
satisfied with it. Next I added an image of a Greek(?) soldier, which I placed on the left, before copying, flipping and
placing on the right.
Finally, I added an image of Hector near the Horse, blurring the image to blend in. I set the entire cover to black & white,
before readjusting the colour balance on each separate image to the same setting.
