Galaxy 4
Cover info
With the Galaxy 4 cover I opted to experiment, to try and go for a "new" look to my covers.
I started by going through Glaxy 4 photographs, hunting for a suitable background shot, having found that I made one section of it the background for my cover.
I scanned in the famous photo of a Rill and blended over it a cloud rendering, to make the Rill look like it is inside its' atmospheric chamber. The Chumblie
and the photo of Maaga were relativly simple to work with and manipulate, just needing the background removed. I set each image to black and white, then
adjusted each image to the same colour balance setting, allowing each image to blend in with each other in the final cover layout. Finally, I decided against
using the Doctor or any companions in the cover because the cover would have looked to cluttered with an image of them in it.
I feel this is my best cover yet.
