The Web of Fear

The recent discovery of clips from The Web of Fear inspired me to create a new cover for the story. First I scanned in a telesnap of two Yeti in the tunnels. Next I adapted one of the screen captures posted online of a Yeti with its web gun, by removing an arm and extending the body. I then scanned in another telesnap of the web in action, using this as an overlay over the Yetis, but erasing some of the web so it looks like the Yeti with the web gun is emerging from the web. I copied the web layer, flipped and resized it, using this as web just fired out of the web gun. I then scanned in an image of a control sphere, placing this on the lower left of the cover. Next I scanned in two images of the Doctor, using elements from both to create the Doctor's image. Finally, I placed a blue to khaki colour was over the entire image.
