UPDATE: I have found a better image of Kara, and have adjusted the cover accordingly. The original cover can still be accessed by the link below the cover information.
I started by scanning in a picture of a Glass Dalek, and then spent some time cleaning up and removing the background. The background image is from the TARDIS landing area, and I decided to use a
landscape section of the image, blending the Glass Dalek in from underneath. Next I scanned in a picture of Davros, and put a bit of work into cleaning it up.
The image of the Sixth Doctor and that Orcini were relatively simple to clear for use, but the image of Kara troubled me for some time, until I decided to just tidy and fade out the bottom of the image.
Finally, due to the background, I decided to experiment with a text effect, which worked.
