Episode 11
Written by: Marcus Durham

[Back in the Motel gardens]

Dave: Everybody seems to be here.
Chuck: Look at the Motel! They will never stop that fire!
Alison: Hang on, where's Alden?
Dave: He's not here.
Alison: Oh my God! Aldens inside the Motel.

[Cut to shot the Motel burning down]

[Theme music plays]
[Two weeks later...]

[Chuck is driving towards the Motel, Marcus is sitting in the passenger
seat]

Chuck: The repair work should be finished by now.
Marcus: Yes, the builders promised to carry out a few improvements as
        well... Shame about Alden though.
Chuck: Yes, but the odd thing is that they never found his body. The
       receptionist disappeared as well.
Marcus: Just as well, to damn Bolshy for my liking.

[The Motel looms large over the horizon]

Chuck: Look's much better doesn't it.

[Inside the Motel the staff are preparing to open.]

Tina: Everything ready?
Alison: Yes, that convention of French teachers are arriving later.
Tina: Splendid, ah look here comes Chuck and Marcus.

[Marcus and Chuck walk in]

Chuck: I'll go to my office to sort out the bookings.
Marcus: And the restaurant?
Chuck: Er, I'll deal with that later.
Alison: What do we do about Alden?
Chuck: Nothing.
Marcus: You have no proof that he is dead.
Chuck: Look, Alden burned to death in the fire. He is an ex-Alden,
he has gone to that great Motel in the sky. He's dead and I am in
       charge!
Alison: Not really. In view of the fire I have decided to take back
        control of my shares.
Marcus: So that leaves me in charge. Right, I'll take the big office
and you can have the crap hole. See you later.

[Marcus walks off]

Chuck: Bum!
Alison: You had better get back to your restaurant you jumped up little
        waiter!

[Chuck skulks off into the restaurant]

[The phone on the reception desk rings. Alison answers it]

Alison: Hello?... Yes... Yes Tina is in her office, I'll put you
through.

[In Tina's office Tina picks up the phone]

Tina: Yes, speaking. What? Why would somebody want to see me
there?... Yes, but the QE2?... How important? Well, OK...
      room 316? Yes. Bye.

[Tina puts the phone down, gets up, and walks out of her office]

[In reception]

Tina: I've just had a funny phonecall. Somebody want's to meet me on the
      QE2.
Alison: How odd. Do you want me to come with you.
Tina: No.
Alison: Still must be somebody with money. Perhaps you will be going on
a cruise? When are you going?
Tina: Now. It's only a 30 minute drive to Southampton.

[Tina walks out via the main entrance... few seconds later a car is
heard driving off]

[In Marcus's office he is using a computer.]

Marcus: How odd, that cannot be right.

[Marcus pick's up the phone and dials]

Marcus: Hello, Aidan? Yes, I've got the financial records up on my
computer. Ten thousand pounds have just vanished from the company
account. Can you find out who's withdrawn that money? Yes, well you
had better find out if it's correct. Otherwise there are two
possibilities, either Chuck has withdrawn that money, or... well, I
        may loose this office.

[Meanwhile Tina is on the QE2]

Tina: Hmm, the room should be down here.

[Tina walks down the corridor, she comes to room 316. She knocks on the
door. There is no answer. She opens the door. There is somebody sitting at
the dressing table. They turn around to face Tina.]

Tina: Oh my God!

[Theme music fades in]
